Writer Bio

Janyre Tromp is an award-winning, best-selling historical suspense novelist who writes fiery myth-laced tales that, at their core, hunt for beauty—even when it isn’t pretty. Her atmospheric books include Burning the Raven Tree, The Scorpion Thief, Darkness Calls the Tiger, and Shadows in the Mind’s Eye. But she’s also a mom, award-winning editor, and wrangler of all things—including her fantastic teens and crazy fur babies. You can find her on social media (@JanyreTromp) or visit her website, www.JanyreTromp.com, where you can download a free novella and subscribe to the Books & Beauty Journal.

Editor Bio

Janyre Tromp is not only a bestselling historical novelist, she’s also an award-winning nonfiction and fiction editor with 30 years of experience in the publishing industry. She’s spent time in acquisitions, editing, marketing, subsidiary rights, and management. For most of her career, she worked in-house for traditional publishers. In the last few years, she’s continued her relationship with publishers but, as a hybrid author herself, she has also branched out into working with Indie authors. Because she’s so passionate about helping authors at all stages and places, she started an Indie author services company called Ember and Vine Press with another veteran editor and author Julie Cantrell. As a sought-after workshop presenter with more than 20 presentations logged in the last year, Janyre adores working with writers and equipping them to make their books the best they can be.
